CJRA
The Canadian Junior Roughstock Association
CJRA was officially incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in 2022. Created by a group of volunteers. In 2021 to produce a series of junior roughstock events called the Chute-Out Series. The CJRA has quickly developed into the leading junior roughstock association in Canada with a total of 22 kids qualifying to represent Canada internationally at the Junior World Finals over the 2021, 2022 and 2023 seasons.
What began as an initiative to create a “Road To Vegas” for local, junior roughstock competitors who wanted to compete at a higher level, the CJRA has taken shape as one of the strongest junior rodeo associations in Canada. The CJRA is committed to working with competitors who want to learn or enhance their skills to the highest level.
Starting in 2023, the CJRA offered event sanctioning to rodeo producers across Canada. CJRA sanctioned events from coast to coast will allow young competitors the opportunity to compete locally and earn points and earnings which will allow them to qualify for the Canadian Junior Finals.
