We are grateful for the strong support of our many volunteers that ensure the success of each event. The CJRA is guided by a board of dedicated individuals who also serve as volunteers and can be seen around our events.

Keena Chausee

2025 CJRA President

A true rodeo enthusiast. Keena has always had a deep appreciation for the art of rodeo, having grown up surrounded by the sport and the culture of the western lifestyle. Marring a bull rider, bull fighter and entertainer, Keena and Gary are raising together 4 children in the same fashion. All involved in rodeos, either chasing cans or bucking
broncs!

Owner of CK Leather for over 20 years, making mainly chaps, rodeo gear, tack and custom projects. They are expending their business this year, opening more opportunities for kids to learn about the art of leather working and western life style.

Keena has been working with kids for a long time, as an educational assistant, French teacher and currently the archery coach for our local school, we can say she has a passion for working with kids. She is thrilled so see what’s next for these kids!

Jen Hennig

2025 Secretary

Jen was introduced into the rodeo family in high school, watching friends come together through competition and sportsmanship.

Years later, she was introduced to the rodeo life again with her youngest son, who joined the CJRA and began to grow friendships with some amazing teammates and families.

She has a passion for precision and a love for the rugged spirit of the arena.  She been involved with many boards over the years and is very excited to assist the CJRA in growing and reaching more kids to help them to participate in this exhilarating sport.
